PART A — DESIGNER VISIT
Every made-to-measure kitchen starts with a free measurement visit. A Kitchen Atelier designer measures your room and works through layout, style and materials with you. That brief is what the 3D design is drawn from.

PART B — THE VISIT
The measurement visit is free. A designer comes to your home, measures the walls and openings, and asks how you cook and live in the space. It’s the first of six stages: measurement, 3D design, approval, production, delivery and installation. Production happens in our own workshop.
Bring your questions about layout, whether that’s straight, L-shaped, U-shaped or with an island, and about the five styles: Modern, Classic, Scandinavian, Loft and Neoclassical. Cabinet fronts, benchtops and hardware in wood, stone and metal are chosen from samples, so you can talk about actual materials at the visit.
PART C — BEFORE WE ARRIVE
Three things make the first visit more useful. None of them has to be exact, because the designer takes the final measurements on site. They just give the conversation a starting point.
■ Photos of the current kitchen — a few phone shots of each wall, the window, and where the sink and cooktop sit.
■ Rough wall lengths — a tape run along each wall the kitchen could use. Rough is fine, because length is one of the factors behind the estimate.
■ Appliance list — fridge, oven, cooktop, dishwasher and anything else to build in or keep. Appliances set cabinet sizes and change the estimate.
PART D — REQUEST
The form asks for your name, email, phone and location (your suburb is enough), then a subject, budget, timeframe and message. Budget and timeframe can be approximate. They just help the designer prepare.
In the subject, say whether you’d like a free measurement visit, a written quote request or both. Use the message for your preferred layout (straight, L-shaped, U-shaped or island), rough wall lengths, the style you’re leaning towards and any notes about the room.

PART E — SHOWROOM & NEXT STEPS
Kitchen Atelier also has a showroom. If you’d like to see fronts, benchtops and hardware in person before or after the home visit, mention it in your message.
After the visit, your measurements become the base for the 3D design. Once you approve the design, the kitchen goes into production in our own workshop. Then comes delivery and installation. Every kitchen is made to measure and backed by a 10-year warranty.
